Eeeee this is making me very excited Sahil! Thank you for your post. What is your conference paper going to be on? You should post some of your papers on here or even just excerpts from them. A lot of what you mention here makes me curious about next year. Conference week falls so close to the end of the year! I didn’t realize that. It must be a stressful time but it seems manageable. How long do you tend to find your papers to be? I just looked through the FYS courses and it seems like they are so fascinating that it would be easy to go on and on in your writing. And if you got to watch Slumdog Millionaire then I would think that that would make it even more exciting! I read your other post, from April of 2010 I believe, where you discussed how college acceptances were more difficult for the class of 2014. I wonder though, that if the rates were increasing, it would be just as difficult to be admitted in subsequent years, if not more difficult. I don’t know, that’s just a thought. Also congratulations on the tennis wins. I hope that SLC can become Division III since that would kind of change the sort of stereotypes that exist about SLC students and athletics (at least the ones I’ve come to hear). I myself don’t necessarily plan on joining a sport, but I’m not opposed to anything once I get there. Congratulations on the end of your first year! This must be a very busy time for you but it’s nice to see that you are keeping up with a very thorough blog. I see that Kanika has commented... hello Kanika!

Anyways, all the best with your work, and I hope you have a great summer.
